Introduction

Facts tell, stories sell..

Still a skeptic?

Most people are not asking the right questions, so we'll ask them for you..

Do you ever watch a game you don't bet on?

  • Probably not. You barely watch the games you do bet on.

The sportsbooks know this. That's why sports gambling has become so widely accepted and legalized in the USA. Money. Entertainment. Distraction.

Would sports gambling be legal if they couldn't make money?

  • No.

How do they make money?

  • From you, your loses.

Are you ok with losing money?

  • You shouldn’t be.

Millions of people betting $50 - $200 on a nightly basis, do the math.

  • (1M * $50) = At least $50M in play per night, staggering.

Where is a majority of the money made?

  • Parlays
  • Props
  • Spreads
  • Totals
  • ..and Moneylines

Ok, so knowing this, let’s run through a scenario on exactly how the books make their money:

Example

Say 98% of the prop bets and parlays (totaling millions) are on Saquon Barkley to score an anytime TD, do you think it’s possible that these bets influenced the game play? Could they call plays that don’t favor his scoring or subtly limit his touches and carry’s? Or perhaps by flat out communicating to him; don’t score and if you do you’re not getting a paycheck this week.

  • If your answer is no, you have some waking up to do. All professional athletes are controlled by the leagues that employ them.

What if 88% of the money was on the over in this game as well, and Vegas needs the under to hit to make money. What would they do to make game play believable to keep the point total down, but also keep it entertaining, making you think both teams are ‘trying their best’ to score?

  • Red zone turnovers and going for it on 4th downs instead of kicking field goals. Getting the crowd pumped up, making them think their noise level and energy is effecting the outcome.
  • But .. but .. “analytics say go for it!” .. ha .. nerd .. fool.

Scenarios like this happen every week, in every sport! Are you aware of it? Probably not. However, believing games are not influenced by the money is extremely naive an ignorant.

Your bets (the money) determine the outcome. Statistics and effort do not determine the outcome, what you are watching is fake competition.

All professional sports are considered an entertainment business in the court of law, not a fair, competitive sport. Period, full stop. These athletes are actors (or slaves, depending on how you want to look at it), either way .. they do as their told.

We will admit, all of this is extremely hard to believe if you don’t have access to the actual magnitude of money, visually seeing how much is at risk every night. That information has been purposefully hidden from you.

Well .. not anymore.

Copied!
